Whatever happened to all the Cup cars made obsolete when NASCAR did its most recent redesign to bring the series into the 21st century? You see occasional appearances at vintage shows, but among all the teams building cars 20 years ago, there’d be hundreds of the things sitting in shops or cut up for scrap.
I figured somebody would start a series for them, with crate engines and hard tires, maybe. Just a thought, but it’d be fun to see T-Birds, Monte Carlos and Luminas racing again. Those sleds would be fun to watch at any shorttrack.
